An enemy for the work-in-progress game Foible & Fable by @koboldskeep on twitter. The enemy needed to show different states clearly so the player could know when to strike in order to deal damage. I had to use a very small portion of the body to express with since the shell was restricted to being a hard, solid shape.
Used Blender Greasepencil to create the rough animation and Krita for cleanup, color, and to combine them onto a sprite sheet.
